Georgia Center for Sight is a leader in comprehensive eye care. Your vision is our top priority and we strive to provide top-notch care in a comfortable, professional atmosphere. Our state of the art facilities offer the best technology available for all your eyecare needs. At our Lavonia and Elberton offices, we offer a wide range of options to help you achieve the best vision possible. Whether you are looking for fashionable glasses or sunglasses, state of the art ophthalmic lens designs, or contact lenses, we are here to help.
Our doctors are skilled at fitting a wide range of contact lens options. Since contact lenses are prescribed medical devices that are worn on the eye, our doctor’s first priority is the health of your eyes before and during contact lens wear in addition to providing the best vision possible for your lifestyle. Our doctor will discuss your needs to determine the best lens for you. Daily disposable lenses is one technology that is becoming much more popular as we know that this wear schedule provides one of the safest and healthiest modalities of contact lens wear. We offer soft contact lenses including lenses for astigmatism as well as rigid gas permeable lenses. We also offer options for our patients who are experiencing difficulty focusing near, which is due to presbyopia – an inability to focus on things up close due to changes of the lens inside the eye that is usually noticed around age 40. For patients with keratoconus and other eye conditions that require a more difficult contact lens fit, our doctors are also skilled at what is referred to as specialty contact lens fits using a variety of lens designs including scleral lenses.
In addition, our opticians work with our doctors to determine the best ophthalmic lens and frame designs for your needs. We offer the latest ophthalmic lens technology, including digital progressive lens designs, transitions, and anti-reflective and scratch resistant lenses. We have lens warranties available on our high quality lenses to ensure you get the most out of your purchase. Working with an experienced optician who is in communication with your doctor is necessary to obtain the highest quality vision possible, and when it comes to your vision, why settle for less? Of course, fashion and appearance are also important when it comes to your choice of glasses. We carry high quality polarized sunglass lines, including Costa and Maui Jim. Some adult frame brands we care are: Guess, Gant, Timberland, Elle, and Swarovski. We also carry a variety of children’s frames including Skechers, Candies, and David Benjamin. We have options available for everyone in the family.
At Georgia Center for Sight we also offer LASIK and other refractive surgery options if you are interested in a more permanent vision correction option than glasses or contact lenses. We also treat all medical eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, and dry eye.
Whatever option is best for you, we look forward to working with you and getting to know you so we can help you achieve the best vision possible. Helping you see well is our passion. Come see Dr. Flood, Dr. Dong, and our friendly experienced staff in our Lavonia or Elberton office for all of your vision needs!
