PDI Kitchen, Bath, & Lighting

With the new year upon us, everyone is ready to make positive, long overdue changes in their lives. This can be achieved in many ways, but we have one in particular in mind: updating the household items we use on a daily basis. These are the faucets, sinks, tubs, showers, and lighting fixtures so commonplace in daily routines that we tend to forget how much we rely on them.

PDI Kitchen, Bath & Lighting has helped independent plumbers, developers, mechanical contractors, and individual homeowners select and purchase the highest quality plumbing and lighting fixtures on the market for more than 47 years. Founded as Plumbing Distributors, Inc. in Lawrenceville, GA in 1973, PDI has a long history of steadfast dedication to customer satisfaction, offering renowned brands such as Native Trails, Kohler, and Brizo as well as a large selection of products handcrafted by skilled artisans out of sustainable and recycled materials. For anyone seeking fixture upgrades, PDI has the quality products and customized designs to bring a positive, long-lasting update to their home.

Earthy colored and textured sinks, basins, and rustic furniture by Native Trails provide a traditional backdrop for Waterstone or California Faucets plumbing fixtures. Waterstone’s Gantry and Wheel pull-down faucets are of an artistry and quality that visiting friends or family cannot ignore, and California Faucets has an extensive portfolio of lovely finishes, including gorgeous Living finishes that develop a patina with age.

Beautiful stainless steel sinks from Kallista combine contemporary style with functionality. Kallista’s faucet selections pair well with its sinks, though you can also mix and match with other brands such as Waterstone Faucets or California Faucets, whose selection of bronze, brass, chrome, nickel, and other finishes are very complementary. Additional options such as Delta, Moen, and Brizo offer modules for voice activation, allowing you to verbally command your water and its volume.

PDI offers luxurious showers, sinks, and tubs of dreamlike quality and craftsmanship in nearly any desired finish from brands like Kohler, Kallista, and MTI. There are many options to choose from, so it comes down to the shape, material, and finish that best fits your space.

Hydro Systems’ enormous walk-in tubs ensure ample space and feature multiple options for grab bars and seating. Brizo, a master of intelligent water systems, impresses with its TempAssure and Sensuri Thermostatic showers, which are fully customized to your specific needs.

For bathroom lighting, Kallista’s choices of sconces are sure to fit your practical needs and look. The Inigo model, available in either chrome or nickel silver, is a popular choice that is aesthetically pleasing without taking up space.

Minka Group, Hinkley, and Kohler create a wide variety of elegant bathroom lighting fixtures and offer virtually any and all styles and finishes. Minka Group’s beautiful collections of decorative bathroom lighting fixtures are nothing short of amazing. Hinkley’s Amabelle and Brooke families of vanity lights are striking while also warm and cozy. For admirers of a sleek, contemporary look, LED lighting products from Alora and Kohler are exquisite.

Progress Lighting’s Briarwood chandeliers and sconces are fresh and interesting, perfect for recreation rooms, kitchens, and other indoor and outdoor areas. Capital Lighting’s Jude 6-Light chandelier with a Mystic Luster finish consists of three bands crossing to form a star, a novel design that blends form and function.

Functionality and versatility are necessary, and naturally, we want both. However, we also desire awe-inspiring pieces. Capital Lighting Fixtures and Minka Group offer lighting solutions for all areas inside and outside of the home. Whether traditional, contemporary, or a mixture of both, their lighting is quite literally breathtaking. Minka’s Elégance Royale or Zaragoza chandelier collections—both masterpieces—are absolute attention stealers. Capital Lighting’s Cambridge 16-Light chandelier in Winter Gold is a glorious fixture that house guests are unlikely to forget.

These featured brands and others from PDI seek to elevate your home’s style. Now is the time to refresh your home with the most exciting and meaningful plumbing and lighting fixtures available, and PDI wants to help make that easier by connecting you to a variety of eclectic and stunning brands.

NATIVE TRAILS

When Naomi Neilson founded Native Trails in 1996, she was determined to be not only socially responsible but environmentally responsible too. Native Trails holds roots in the traditions of centuries-old artisan craftsmanship and takes every opportunity to use recycled, reclaimed, or green certified materials, bringing eco-consciousness to luxury living. It partners with skilled artisans who employ age-old tradition and craftsmanship, bringing life to inspiring, innovative designs. Every piece they create is the only one of its kind, handcrafted from sustainable materials such as recycled copper, reclaimed wood, and concrete. Each piece reflects the unique details and process of the artisan who so skillfully created it.

With her passion for artisan tradition, sustainability, and fair trade practices, Naomi sought to bring the work of undiscovered artisans from central Mexico to central California and beyond to living spaces throughout the continent. Combining artisans’ classic traditions with contemporary design and sustainable materials, Naomi broke new ground with Native Trails’ iconic copper sinks and helped to introduce copper as a mainstay material for the kitchen and bath industry.

Naomi and her team continue to forge new trails by researching new offerings and traveling all over the world to find undiscovered artisans who can bring life to Native Trails’ innovative designs. Native Trails has expanded far beyond copper sinks; its artisan-made product lines have grown to include groundbreaking NativeStone® concrete sinks, vanities made of reclaimed wood, bathtubs, furniture, a range of home decor products, and now spun glass Italian sinks.

Soon after the first copper basin was introduced, it became Native Trails’ core product. Native Trails was the first company to have its copper sinks certified by the UPC and listed by IAPMO, and because of that, Naomi and her team were able to help write many of the standards in place for copper sinks. The Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association (DPHA) took notice of the company’s meteoric rise and sound accomplishments by naming Native Trails CEO Naomi Neilson the Manufacturing Professional of the Year in 2005. As a Certified B Corporation since 2019, Native Trails is proud to join others in using business as a force for good.

Today, Native Trails leads the industry in artisan crafted, eco-conscious furnishings and fixtures for high end kitchen and bath design, and PDI is proud to offer many of its products.

WATERSTONE FAUCETS

At its inception, Waterstone Faucets primarily focused on providing top-quality parts and finished components to large manufacturers that made and sold drinking water filtration systems. When the news spread about Waterstone’s quality parts and timely deliveries, the company forged its reputation as a top industry leader, and customers began to make special requests for small institutional drinking water faucets in custom finishes.

Waterstone recognized this unique opportunity and introduced higher-end kitchen faucets that would elevate luxury in designer kitchens everywhere.

Waterstone incorporated its new product line into its regular offerings, designing, developing, and engineering a full line of kitchen faucets to pair with its water filtration faucets. The focus that guided Waterstone in this decision was to manufacture products that would match the originality of the first ground-breaking filtration faucet designs.

As Waterstone’s team continued to develop water filtration faucets using the best materials and finishes available, its reputation grew. Using the experience of selling certified products to the water quality system manufacturers, the company created its own highly efficient manufacturing system that could make anything its designers developed while maintaining the highest quality certifiable. Waterstone launched its first line of decorative filtration faucets in 2002, choosing to market and sell those products through trained and qualified kitchen and bath showrooms such as PDI throughout North America.

Now there are more individual faucets and accessories available than ever before to perform specific functions. Gantry, Bridge, Pull-down, Kitchen, Prep, Bar, Filtration, and Pot-filler faucets are used individually and in conjunction with one another. The addition of accessory items such as side sprays, soap and lotion dispensers, decorative air switches, dishwasher air gaps, escutcheon base plates, decorative hole covers, and matching cabinet hardware has provided the homeowner with a complete array of products for the new “living area” of the home.

When building a new home or remodeling, the homeowner is confronted with many decisions. The kitchen offers the opportunity for personal expression and taste. With so many different faucetry items available it is important to coordinate all of the choices in design style and finish.

Matching or “suiting” all of these elements is the obvious answer. PDI is proud to offer the Gantry and Wheel pull-down faucets, just a couple of the Waterstone products you can find among the PDI portfolio.

DELTA

Delta Faucet Company is known for three important tenets: one, that water has the power to transform the way people feel every day; two, that there is magic in simple solutions; and three, that innovations flow from human insight. Inspired by its customers’ needs, Delta has brought technological magic to consumers with simple solution innovations like Touch2O, MagnaTite Docking, and H2Okinetic technologies. It pairs thoughtful features, such as the ability to turn on your kitchen faucet with a tap of your elbow, with breathtaking designs and products that are built to last a lifetime. Delta’s designers understand that every aspect of a shower’s design affects your shower experience down to the smallest detail. They go the extra mile to deliver innovation that improves the quality of your kitchen and shower time.

The Delta brand partnered with Southern Living in 2017 in the Southern Living Test Kitchen and the Idea House in Bald Head Island, NC. As the official faucet brand of the Southern Living Test Kitchen, Delta was excited to support Southern Living in its focus on one of its most popular pillars: Home. Delta brand’s timeless faucet designs were featured in this Carolina coastal getaway home, where beautiful design matched the wonderment of innovation.

One of Delta’s newest products, the glass rinser, is perfect for cleaning wine glasses, baby bottles, and most other forms of drinkware and adds particular convenience to your home bar. Its sleek, low-profile design coordinates with any faucet and it can be easily installed in an empty countertop hole, such as those used for soap dispensers and sink sprayers. Through consumer-inspired innovations like In2ition Two-in-One showers, which allow you to get water where you need it most using the integrated shower head and hand shower together or separately, Delta is committed to making technology feel like magic that makes your busy life a little easier.

Delta is one of the most widely used brands in the market, and PDI is happy to offer hundreds of its high quality products ranging from faucets, robe hooks, shower heads, sink basins, and more. One thing you can be sure of: the associates at PDI can help you find the perfect fit for your kitchen or bathroom, along with elegant styles and suitable accessories that bring the overall ambience of the space together seamlessly.

HYDRO SYSTEMS

Since 1978, Hydro Systems has delivered on its promise to provide customers with innovative, high-end bathing experiences at affordable prices. Hydro Systems builds integrity and quality into each of its bath systems and firmly believes that customer service and support must be the utmost priority when it comes to a product designed to alleviate the stresses of everyday life.

Proudly made in the U.S., designs from Hydro Systems’ four bathtub collections—Designer, Metro, STON, and Studio—can be found in distinguished homes and hotels around the world. However, its bathing systems are not “one size fits all,” because Hydro Systems recognizes that every client is different. All of its bathtubs are built to order, enabling the company to craft the optimal product to suit your unique bathing requirements.

The story of Hydro Systems begins with Alan Steinhardt, who founded the company in 1978. Alan launched his career with a distinct mission to provide high-quality bathtubs at an affordable price. Now led by Alan’s son, President and Owner Scott Steinhardt, with Scott’s wife and their three children all working as part of the company operations, Hydro Systems expands upon Alan’s original vision with a full line of revolutionary custom bathtubs and accessories and a continued superior standard that sets it apart.

Hydro Systems utilizes the highest quality materials and processes to construct its bathtubs, starting with deep lustrous acrylic sheets with fiberglass reinforcement. Lightweight and easy to install, acrylic remains a popular and cost effective choice of material. It is smooth and non-porous, creating a surface that is easy to clean and maintain. With layers of fiberglass backing, acrylic not only provides a beautiful long-lasting luster but also boosts a bathtub’s performance by providing both sound and temperature insulation. Additionally, acrylic is a highly versatile option for all design needs with an extensive spectrum of colors to choose from. Hydro Systems’ exclusive resin and fiberglass structure combined with superior quality acrylic makes it a leader in heat reflectivity, structural integrity, and dimensional stability.

Hydro Systems takes pride in using only components made in North America that meet its exact standards in material and craftsmanship. From initially manufacturing gel coat tubs to high-end acrylic to creating a custom blend of HydroLuxe SS, the company has consistently stayed ahead of the curve when it comes to the most modern advances in bathtub technology. Expect to see many of its products, including enormous walk-in tubs and showers, at PDI.

BRIZO

Brizo, a luxury fittings brand, caters to those who understand that fashion is not merely the clothes one wears, but rather an entire lifestyle that can be expressed in one’s home as well as attire. Brizo inspires spaces with its distinctive designs, creating high end collections for the kitchen, bath, and shower that elegantly push the limits on design, craftsmanship, and innovation. No detail is ever too small to be thoughtfully designed, meticulously handcrafted, and thoroughly obsessed over.

Befitting its position at the forefront of design, Brizo is a premier sponsor of renowned fashion designer Jason Wu. The two fashion brands collaborated to bring the Jason Wu for Brizo Kitchen Collection to life in August 2020, introducing a new vibrance to the familiar. The latest in a decade-long collaboration, the Jason Wu for Brizo Kitchen Collection blends the pioneering sense of style of acclaimed fashion designer Jason Wu with the Brizo brand’s distinctive design and craftsmanship for a fresh, streamlined aesthetic in the kitchen.

The kitchen collection features a signature Matte White finish, perfectly contrasting and expanding upon the Matte Black finish first showcased in the 2011 Jason Wu for Brizo Bath Collection. Subtle details thoughtfully designed and meticulously crafted, such as the polished nickel handle that echoes the base of his mannequins, pay homage to Jason’s work. The collection features innovative SmartTouch technology on the Pull-Down Kitchen and Pull-Down Prep faucets, providing users the ability to activate water flow with a simple tap. The Jason Wu for Brizo Kitchen SmartTouch faucets are also compatible with optional VoiceIQ technology, which allows users to issue voice commands to their connected home device to activate water flow in metered or custom amounts.

In January 2020, Brizo released the Kintsu Bath Collection, which balances simplicity with intricacy, consistency with variety, and opposition with equality. Drawn from ‘Kintsugi,’ a Japanese method of joining pieces of cracked pottery with gold, the name ‘Kintsu’ represents the way in which the Japandi style merges two design philosophies for a stunning aesthetic. Tranquil contours reflect the elegant minimalism of Scandinavian design, while a motif of broken geometries throughout the collection channels the principles of Japanese wabi-sabi, celebrating the beauty found in imperfections. Epitomizing this concept, the Single-Handle Lavatory faucet features clean lines that are interrupted as the faucet turns on and off, while widespread handles represent a reimagination of the traditional cross shape for architectural intrigue. The collection demonstrates a reverence for natural materials and embraces the importance of individual expression with five knob handle options, including mother of pearl, concrete, teak, all-metal with a void design, and a custom option that allows unique inlays.

“The bath should be the destination where one finds balance,” said Seth Fritz, Brizo industrial designer. “The Kintsu Bath Collection represents the perfect blend of design influences to create a unique and splendid interplay of Scandinavian and Japanese inspiration, offering a level of customization inspired by natural materials that will ensure each individual finds their own exquisite equilibrium.”

Available exclusively in showrooms, Brizo products are more than just fittings; they are inspired pieces of art. That’s why Brizo signs its work, much like an artist or fashion designer, with two simple words that speak volumes: By Brizo.

PDI clients are often drawn to Brizo’s products because of the romantic aura behind many of its designs. In particular, the Baliza is popular among Lake Oconee residents for its resemblance to a Portuguese lighthouse and the nautical ambiance it invokes.

MTI BATH

In 1988, a machinist with an entrepreneurial heart named J.C. Henry started a company in Sugar Hill, GA with the goal of creating the best whirlpool tubs on the market. His determination led to the development of innovative technology that is still in use today and gave rise to the success story that is MTI Baths.

From its humble beginnings to its current status as a leading bath manufacturer, MTI Baths has had an unerring focus on excellence that has influenced everything it does, from design innovation to craftsmanship to customer service. With a reputation for meticulous craftsmanship, the MTI brand was built on the highest standards of excellence. Each tub is made to order and handcrafted in the U.S. at a production facility filled with skilled people who possess extraordinary talents. Although each tub is manufactured to order, MTI still has the shortest lead times in the industry.

“What sets us apart is high design, but also the high quality of our product,” said Russell Adams, president and chief design officer. “We want to build products that will last for years to come.” MTI offers an extensive product line with hundreds of tubs in every shape and style as well as shower bases, sinks, counter-sinks, vanity sinks, and genuine teak accessories. MTI tubs are works of art, designed to be both comfortable and beautiful. The design process is a lengthy one that includes much planning and teamwork.

“The one big change I’ve seen in our industry,” said CEO Kathy Adams, “has been the change from plumbers making every single decision to decisions being design-based.”

The company has successfully collaborated over the years with leading artists, sculptors, and designers to create extraordinary products. MTI has won more than its share of the industry’s most prestigious honors during the past three decades, including numerous Good Design and ICONIC awards, and top accolades from International Design Excellence Awards, Kitchen & Bath Business, Interior Design Magazine, European Product Design Awards, and many others.

MTI takes pride in the superior quality of its product line and knows that the best way for people to truly appreciate what it offers is to experience it first hand. To that end, MTI opened the Woodward Mill House in 2012 as a hospitality center to host designers, representatives, distributors, and media, and allow them to immerse themselves in some of the company’s most popular products. Located in Sugar Hill, GA near MTI’s production facility and showroom, this impeccably furnished house exudes Southern charm and includes five luxurious suites, each outfitted with MTI bathtubs as well as shower bases, sinks, counter-sinks, and vanity sinks. According to Kathy, the house has been a very effective sales tool.

“People sell what they’re comfortable with and what they think is best for their own customers,” Kathy said. “So we bring them to this house to spend the night, to experience our products and be able to better communicate them to their customers.”

For MTI, “green” means environmental responsibility and sustainability. MTI’s commitment to be green is evidenced in the policies and practices it implements in both its administrative and manufacturing areas. MTI is a champion of recycling, recycling cardboard, paper, copper, aluminum, scrap steel, virgin and scrap acrylic and wood, and test-table water in addition to computers, monitors, cables, printer ink cartridges, batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, and thermostats.

Over 40 percent of the materials used in the manufacturing of MTI acrylic products, such as soaking tubs and shower bases, is post-industrial recycled material. Approximately 70 percent of the material used in the manufacturing of MTI Engineered Solid Stone (ESS) products is organic, including minerals mined from the earth. MTI also uses the newest chemicals that offer the lowest emissions; even the cleaning agents used emit no VOCs and have a very low flashpoint, benefitting both the worker and the environment.

MTI uses only 100 percent U.S. certified legal, sustainable teak lumber. The teak lumber used in MTI products is imported by reputable suppliers who meet and exceed all federal regulations. MTI’s suppliers are dedicated to complying with all international laws regarding labor and conservation concerns in harvesting of the trees. All premium teak lumber used by MTI is harvested from responsibly managed forests, thereby not endangering or depleting the rainforests of the world.

MTI’s products speak for themselves, and PDI is happy to introduce clients to the MTI portfolio. Its luxury designs, sculpted finishes, and tub series are undeniably stunning and sure to elevate the bathing experience. Customers at PDI particularly love the Juliet, a sleek double-flipper tub in an asymmetrical design with very dramatic and sweeping flipper ends.

California Faucets

Fred Silverstein started California Faucets in 1988 with a simple premise to offer high-quality customizable products, manufacture them locally, deliver them in a timely manner, and provide unparalleled customer service. Remarkably, this “no-brainer” philosophy was an industry first at the time. By launching California Faucets with this mission, Fred provided customers with an experience unavailable elsewhere and alien to the old school industry.

As the only independently owned, custom faucet company in the U.S., the executive team is California Faucets’ leader. The company isn’t owned by a multi-national company or conglomerate. When Fred started California Faucets over 30 years ago, he made a commitment to invest in good manufacturing jobs in California. When much of the industry went overseas, California Faucets stayed. It employs more American labor per faucet sold than most any other manufacturer in the industry.

There is one constant since the company’s founding: its commitment to the customer experience. Choosing the right fitting takes time. It is a decision that may live for the lifetime of your home. At every step, California Faucets wants to ensure that its customers have all the information, options, and support to make their purchase with confidence.

Every home is different, and every homeowner has a unique design perspective for it; one size does not fit all. California Faucets believes you can design your fitting to your liking. That’s why it allows you to combine handles and spouts and match them with any of its 28 artisan finishes. In a mass-produced world, California Faucets assembles and finishes every single product by hand. Its team takes pride in crafting each fitting one at a time. In fact, when you receive your product, you’ll find the name of the employee who assembled it on the package.

PDI wants to bridge the gap between manufacturer and customer even further by bringing you the best of California Faucets’ products to one location. The Zero Drain is a big seller right now because it redefines the clean lines of a sink; when open, it is flush with the sink bowl, but when pushed down it closes, and it can be easily removed for cleaning purposes.

KALLISTA

The story of Kallista begins with two European visionaries, Anthony Pontin and Norman Bell, who had the idea to break the convention of white-and-chrome by offering plumbing products of superior design, style, and functionality.

Kallista’s early success is attributed to Pontin and Bell’s unwavering commitment to “the best,” meaning that only the most skilled craftsmen were represented by Kallista. Its reputation for custom finishes and materials grew with the addition of its first showroom in San Francisco. When it was acquired by Kohler Co. in the late 1980s, Kallista and its diverse luxury portfolio began to flourish. Instant icons like the solid copper Archeo tub and the cast iron Circe tub symbolized the brand’s timeless appeal. Kallista gained even more prominence by collaborating with independent artists and luxury brands for exclusive collections.

Kallista recently joined forces once again with Chicago-based, internationally-recognized designer Mick De Giulio to create the Juxtapose Collection, a new line of kitchen faucets designed to delight both novice and kitchen connoisseurs. The collection comprises a single- hole semi-professional faucet, a single-hole bar faucet, a wall-mount pot filler, and a soap/lotion dispenser. The designs are offered in a primary palette of polished chrome, stainless steel, and matte black PVD finishes, which are artfully contrasted by complementary PVD finishes.

Known around the world today for its premium bath and kitchen solutions thoughtfully crafted to complement a variety of spaces, Kallista has stayed true to its original mission of offering plumbing designs that are second to none.

MOEN

On a typical Seattle night in 1937, a young Al Moen was cleaning up after an evening of work when he went to wash his hands at an old-fashioned two-handle faucet. A sudden burst of hot water made him jump back in alarm and this moment of surprise turned out to be the inspiration for the single-handle faucet—an invention that would revolutionize plumbing.

For more than 75 years since, Moen has thrived at the intersection of style and innovation. With 1.5 trillion gallons of water running through its faucets each year, the company recognizes a tremendous responsibility to make sure every interaction with a Moen faucet is a meaningful one.

The U by Moen Smart Faucet offers convenience, precision, and intuitive voice activation technology to help complete tasks in the kitchen. Customizable settings and personalized commands allow the user to save time throughout their day by making everyday tasks just a little simpler. The faucet can be activated using voice control, the motion sensor, a smartphone app, or the handle.

The U by Moen Smart Faucet was identified by How-To Geek as one of the latest and greatest products to come from the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show. The U also received accolades through the Life Best of CES award, which recognizes the most forward thinking and useful iOS gear coming to market this year, and it was recognized by the editors of Sunset for the annual CES Smarter Award, which highlights the best new tech and gadgets announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Moen is always evolving how the world interacts with water. The company continues to connect with various water-focused communities across the country and challenges the status quo by striving to deliver more meaningful water experiences to its customers throughout the world. Its innovative MotionSense technology responds the instant it is needed, delivering exceptional, hands-free convenience in the kitchen. Moen prides itself on products like Motionsense that match the consumer’s lifestyle, with a major focus on precision, design, and functionality.

PDI carries a number of Moen products, from faucets to hand showers and accessories. Many people are very receptive to Moen’s smart products, but for those interested in more traditional designs, Moen offers it all. The associates at PDI are happy to consult with you about how to upgrade the products in your home that most need it and would most benefit your lifestyle.

KOHLER

In 1873, Kohler was co-founded by Austrian immigrants John Michael Kohler and Charles Silberzahn when they purchased the Sheboygan Union Iron and Steel Foundry from Kohler’s father-in-law Jacob Vollrath for $5,000. Their earliest products included cast iron and steel farm implements, castings for furniture factories, and ornamental iron pieces from cemetery crosses and settees. A breakthrough came 10 years later when John

Michael applied enamel to a cast-iron horse trough to create the company’s first bathtub. Ever since, Kohler has been primarily in the plumbing business and is known for its plumbing fixtures.

In the early 20th century, Kohler made drinking fountains with a “bubbling valve” from which water shot vertically. Eventually the entire fountain came to be known as a “bubbler” in the area in which Kohler products were sold. The term bubbler is still used in a few areas of Wisconsin and some other areas of the U.S.

Kohler has improved the level of gracious living by providing exceptional products and services for customers’ homes and their lifestyles for many years. Its team knows that better business and a better world go hand-in-hand, and they are fueled by the passion of more than 36,000 associates worldwide. They strive to enhance the quality of life for current and future generations through design, craftsmanship, and innovation.

Design has always embraced a certain level of self expression, but unlike the days when tastemakers expressed themselves and the world adjusted, today’s personal style is truly at the heart of design. The objects an individual surrounds themself with, the ideas they are passionate about, and how they want to feel in their home—these are the most important details in design. Quite simply, you and your personality are the key ingredients.

Whether cooking is your way to wind down or takeout is your daily go-to, Kohler has beautiful solutions to meet your needs. Its kitchen designs invite you to spend time with family and friends, enjoying good food and good conversation. Kohler is here to help you design a home that is an expression of you and the life you love, and that doesn’t stop with your plumbing products. These are parts of the home we use every single day: can you imagine a day you haven’t turned on a faucet?

Kohler offers a number of storage solution accessories in addition to built-in cutting boards and wall-mounted power strips that keep your kitchen organized and functional so you can focus on the memories being made rather than the mess. Its tailored vanity pieces allow the perfect fit, optimizing your space in a clean, efficient way. Vanity top cutouts also provide a clean and finished look to any space, adding a nice final touch to your design.

With high quality, thoughtful design, a range of materials, and gorgeous colors, you can’t go wrong with a Kohler sink. Its wide assortment offers a variety of sizes and configurations so you can create a functional space that will look beautiful for years to come. Kohler offers multiple sink styles, each with a specific installation: top-mount, under-mount, apron-front, tile-in, and wall-mount. Consider your kitchen cabinet size and what kitchen sink will work best with your cabinet configuration, and allow the experts at PDI to help you find the perfect product for your kitchen or bathroom.

Also to be considered is the sink bowl configuration, whether that be a single-bowl, offset, double-equal, bar, or utility, and the custom spout selection.

If you have ever used a sink, it is likely you have used a Kohler product. PDI carries a wide range of Kohler products including faucets, sinks, in-laid countertop cutting boards, drawers, and more accoutrements to elevate your kitchen and bathroom spaces to their fullest potential. The function of your products should leave little to think about, doing the work for you so you can focus on the more important things taking place at home: like cooking meals together as a family.

HINKLEY

Phil R. Hinkley founded Hinkley Lighting, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio as a small residential outdoor lantern company in 1922. Unfortunately, in the mid 1930s he contracted tuberculosis and sold half of his company share to Stanley Wiedemer, a traveling salesman from Kansas City. In 1937, Hinkley passed away, and Stanley purchased the other half of Hinkley Lighting. Shortly after, he moved his family from Kansas City to Cleveland to manage Hinkley in the very city in which it began.

Thirty-two years later, Stanley’s grandson Richard “Rick” Wiedemer, a young, eager business major, graduated from Ohio University and officially started his career at Hinkley Lighting, which went on to span an incredible 50 years. Starting in the factory and working his way through each manufacturing and office department, Rick developed a deep passion for sales, marketing, and product development. As CEO, Rick led the third generation of his family, and under his leadership, Hinkley grew to become one of the finest lighting companies in the world.

Hinkley is proud to be a fourth-generation family company and prioritizes its employees above all else. This has proven to be a positive mission of the company, as it has succeeded as a frontrunner in the lighting and fixtures industry for nearly 100 years now with the dedication of its employees.

At Hinkley, they understand how personal the home building and furnishing process is for customers; after all, lighting helps make a house a home. With that in mind, Hinkley’s team creates thoughtful designs with the same quality and style they put in their own homes, placing a focus on products that any homeowner could imagine themselves using. Hinkley’s newest products consist of a line of beautiful lantern fixtures, available in a number of mount styles, indoor and outdoor, to create a low-lit ambience perfect for entertaining and relaxing.

Hinkley strives to deliver the highest caliber of customer service in the industry. Thoughtful design, impeccable attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship are the backbone of every single product released. Hinkley takes pride in its Northeast Ohio roots, where nothing is given and everything is earned. PDI takes pride in carrying Hinkley’s wonderful products. The brand is especially popular among PDI’s customer base for its on-trend finishes in black and gold.

ALORA

Alora is an exquisite, refined luxury brand, a contrast in style to its partner brand Kuzco Lighting. The Alora collection embodies the philosophy that illumination can be achieved through beauty and creativity. Timeless, transitional fixture designs are complemented with refined finishes and superior materials. Alora, of Greek origin, means “shining light” and defines the brand’s vision: a shining light in style, quality, and customer care.

Alora has a number of collections to browse, ranging in style and aesthetic so there is something for everyone: Altero, Amor, Arista, Calista, Calor, Capsula, Carlisle, Coast, Coast Portable, Duo, Flute, Glacia, Globo, Harmony, Hexa, Lattice, Manor, Necto, Revolve, Revolve II, Rocco, Salita, Tagliato, Valise, Valise Picture, and Velo. Alora is an exploration of timeless elegance and luxury.

The Flute is a true celebration of style, a series of ribbed glass shades form a linear or circular colonnade held by a delicately curved base. The Flute collection is offered in Polished Nickel, Urban Bronze, and Vintage Brass finishes.

The Carlisle collection radiates a composed elegance through vertical crystal panels that create a soft cascade of light. Available as a chandelier or sconce, the Carlisle collection is offered in Polished Nickel, Urban Bronze, or Vintage Brass finishes.

The Salita collection features a succession of crystal shades held in a formal linear or circular arrangement. Clear shades provide a modern aesthetic; a ribbed texture adds a classical and timeless appeal. The Salita collection is offered in Polished Nickel, Urban Bronze, or Vintage Brass finishes.

Calista, taken from the Greek word meaning “most beautiful,” is a collection of table lamps that feature a softly tapered, solid crystal base, metal accents, and a classic white silk shade. Calista lamps are offered in Polished Nickel, Urban Bronze, and Vintage Brass finishes.

The Coast table lamp offers a refreshing and relaxed vibe with its natural and airy appearance. Meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout the fixture’s design: clear glass vessels, solid brass materials, and 100 percent natural linen shades that coalesce to create a distinctive look. The Coast table lamp comes in two beautiful finishes: Vintage Brass with Natural Linen or Aged Nickel with White Linen.

Elegant and subtly tapered linen drum shades add a stylish and classic statement to any interior. The Calor collection exhibits a luminous gold interior combined with 100 percent linen exterior, offered in soft neutral tones of white, black, and gray. Calor pieces are available in two sizes and offered in both Vintage Brass and Urban Bronze finishes.

The Arista collection elevates the classic Hollywood vanity lights design with an elegant and sophisticated transformation. Simple half globes with radiant LED light illuminate against a Matte Black finish.

Amor, indicative of its name, is a lovely collection whose delicate glow instantly creates a romantic atmosphere. Available in a Natural Brass finish with an opaque tube that softly diffuses the light, it has an atmospheric and calming effect.

Altero derives inspiration from architecture and features dramatic right angles with an exposed bulb, creating a structured look. It is offered in a variety of finishes including Polished Chrome, neutral Vintage Brass, and Urban Bronze, whose warm undertones add an inviting touch of modern elegance.

Velo’s sculptural lines are inspired by draped fabric, giving it bold shape and presence. Finished in Matte Black that reveals luxurious Gold Foil interiors, its warm, sultry glow lends an inviting hue to your space.

Available in a mixture of finishes and design, Tagliato is a blended style of fixtures. Matte Black frames are accented with distinct details of Satin Gold, including a band around the opal glass globes and fixture joints. The look of the rotating globes and contrasting finishes is the perfect combination of modern and classic design.

Each collection from Alora embodies classical forms elevated by modern designs, refined finishes, and superior materials. Timeless Alora chandeliers, pendants, and sconces available through PDI bring exquisite illumination that complement and complete designer spaces.
